The Capaldi era was the perfect storm for me. I was older, gone were my days of binge drinking, I was alone, tucked up cosy on autumn and winter evenings. I had an actor I had loved anyway, playing a Doctor who I related to, in stories that I adored. I had gone deep into Doctor Who by this time, I was obsessed!
