I would say this was a mixed bag of a series. Some bangers with a few middle of the roads, and one which I struggled with! So here we go, ranking every episode from series 2 of Doctor Who.
I've never cringed so much in all my life. Huw Edwards commentary as the spectators in the stadium disappear is so strange, and the man collapsing with the torch and therefore the Olympic dream is over is laughably bad. Some slightly iffy acting added into the mix and it is fair to say this is not one of my favourite episodes. It's still Doctor Who though, so as always it still has a bit of fun, and Doctor Who cringe is the best type of cringe isn't it?
An OK episode, not really one for me though. The Doctor and Rose are a bit to up themselves for my liking. Is there any other way to go, daddy-o?

Another one that is OK. I had a dislike for the monks when I first watched it and I realised I still have a dislike for the monks now. I also have a dislike of the royal family so I tend to struggle to root for them if they pop up.
Not a bad one, just doesn't live long in the memory for me. A slightly OTT villain perhaps - Trigger I'm looking at you! Always good to see Mickey be the hero though.
A fun series opener where David and Billie shine as comic geniuses. Some of there interaction in this one is so good, David beating out a samba, Billie upset she is a chav, great stuff. The ending also had an emotional punch.
An iconic monster returns, but perhaps this is low down as the return of the Cybermen wasn't as spectacular as the return of the Daleks?
To half quote Ncuti here - give it the loving!!!! Come on, I know you want to! Don't you? You do don't you? A very experimental episode at the time, but it does allow us to get a good look at Jackie's life outside of all the alien invasions, and Camille shines, as does Marc Warren as Elton. So the Azorbaloff may be a bit of an eyesore, and I don't think anyone was ready for Peter Kay in his loin cloth, but hey, this is fun, it's different, and who doesn't like dancing to a bit of ELO from time to time?
This is only middle of the road because I loved the other episodes to come. This was a great ending to Rose's story, an emotional rollercoaster. The Dalek and Cyberman battle wasn't quite as epic as it could of been, but we are on a BBC budget here so that was probably to be expected. It may have been nice for the Cybermen to put up a bit more of a fight. Still bloody good though!

I have probably put this up there for one scene alone, Sarah Jane stumbling upon the TARDIS. The music and the shooting of the scene is unreal, love it. Rose was a bit too bitchy for my liking in this one, but thank goodness she softens in the end.
RTD doing RTD things. Slow build up, nice bit of character development, holy fuck it's the Daleks in the Void Ship. This has to be up there as one of the best cliffhangers to an episode.
The beginning of a staple of Christmas day. RTD managed to introduce us to a new Doctor and thrill us after our Christmas dinners, a job well done. Ten coming out of the TARDIS on the Sycorax ship is a true punch the air moment, the bar was set for future Christmas episodes.
What an amazing two parter this was. I loved it. All the additional people in the episode are likeable which can be quite a rare thing. The Ood look amazing. I really enjoyed this episode, like really enjoyed it. Suki's death is still freaking me out.

To cap it all off the second part does not disappoint either. Love, love, love!!
Even though I feel it doesn't quite fit into series 2 as a standalone episode I bloody love it. Scary, funny and emotional, a timey-wimey preview of adventures to come with Steven Moffat.
What was your favourite episode of the series? I am sure a lot of people would have Doomsday at number one!! Let me know in the comments below.
